I am currently looking for the best instant messenger I could use on my Motorola Android phone. I have tried both Meebo IM and eBuddy, both applications are free for Android. I’d say I like Meebo IM better, for its ability to let you see your friend’s status. Aside from that, if you create a Meebo account, you can save a collective log of all your chats that will be accessible online. But I must say that I like the conversation box design of eBuddy better.
Both Meebo IM and eBuddy applications will keep you connected to all of your IM (instant messenger) accounts while you’re roaming around, multiple IM protocols into a single app that you can always keep running on your phone and keeps you connected on the major IM networks like AIM, MSN, Yahoo, MySpace IM, Facebook, Google Talk, Jabber and ICQ.
I am actually loving both IM Android applications. Hey, they’re both awesome and both free. My only concern right now is the lack of push service. I am hoping to find an Android IM application with the ability to save my chat logs/ conversations from my phone and able to send it in my email. Anybody knows if there’s one I can use? Is there a way where I can save my IM chats from Android phone? This might be a dumb question, but seriously, I have no clue. Please hit the comment button if you know what I need to do. Thanks!
