I thought my iPod Touch was broke. Since lastnight, I was asking myself, “Why does my ipod touch play the same song over and over?”. My iPod Touch is new so I am not familiar with it yet. I was a little worried, thinking I broke it already. I play a song and then instead of going to the next one on my playlist it repeats the same song. No matter what I do, my iPod Touch do not cycle through all songs on an album, or shuffle through my multiple songs. It is kinda tiring having to select each song every time. It defeats the purpose of having it on a playlist. It was driving me crazy, my incredible frustration.

I finally got it fixed earlier. I learned that I had it on repeat mode. Duh! must have pressed the repeat button on accident. If you are having the same problem, see the picture below. I put a label on it so you can find the repeat controls. At the top of the screen, there’s a little arrow that keeps revolving. It is where you can set the mode as repeat or continue. You just have to tap the repeat controls until its off. If it’s blue, it means it’s active, grey color means it’s off.

That should take care of the problem. Your iPod Touch should play the next song on the list. Have fun!
